Once again Bill and I headed off for another Japanese adventure. We were headed to Osaka to meet up with Laurie and Mike, Bill's parents.
We took the later flight out of Okinawa to Osaka. We left at 9pm, once again we were arriving late. It would be a race to catch the train to get to our hotel before the trains stopped. We got off the plane and hit the ground running. We ran from the Tarmac through the terminal to the bus, from the bus to the train station. We had 3 mins to spare when we sat down on the train. Then the worry of we were headed the wrong way came over us, but we were in luck, we were headed in the right direction. Eleven stops later we transferred trains. We had a short walk above ground and head out on another line. Just as we were going through the turnstile they closed the station, we hopped on the last train. We arrived close to our destination but not too close, so we took a short cab ride. Finally at 1am we arrived at our hotel, Hotel Nikko Osaka.
Tomorrow we start bright and early exploring a new city.
